Una de las fases de este procedimiento es el destete ventilatorio que para lograr la respuesta adecuada del paciente se requiere del conocimiento y la práctica del equipo intensivista , entre ellos el del profesional de enfermería. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y la práctica de la enfermera en el destete ventilatorio de pacientes pediátricos con ventilación mecánica en cuidados intensivos de un Hospital Público del Callao 2024. Materiales y Métodos: Estudio con enfoque cuantitativo , descriptivo, correlacional y transversal . La población censal estará conformada por 30 enfermeras a quienes se aplicarán dos instrumentos para la recolección de datos ; un cuestionario para medir el nivel de conocimientos y una guía de observación para evaluar la práctica de la enfermera. Resultados: Los datos recolectados luego de codificarse se vaciarán en el programa SPSS versión 26 para su respectivo análisis y presentación. Los resultados serán presentados en tablas y gráficos.

One of the phases of this procedure is ventilatory weaning, which to achieve the patient's adequate response requires the knowledge and practice of the intensivist team, including that of the nursing professional.
