A case of Guillain-Barré syndrome and hemolytic anemia is reported in a context of infection with human T lymphotropic virus type I. (source: MeSH NLM) DOI:  10.25176/RFMH.v18.n3.1596RESUMEN Paciente varón de 54 años de edad, con antecedente de Síndrome de Guillain-Barré, recibe tratamiento con Gabapentina. Cuatro meses antes de su ingreso presenta anemia hemolítica autoinmune, recibió Prednisona. Al momento de ingreso presenta disnea a medianos esfuerzos, astenia, palpitaciones, hiporexia, hipotensión, disminución de peso. Western Blott resultó positivo para HTVL-1. Se agrega temblor en manos. Se reporta un caso de Síndrome de Guillain-Barré y Anemia hemolítica en un contexto de una infección por virus linfotrópico T humano tipo I.
