Sumario:Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and consumption of energydrinks in students of the Environmental Engineering school of a private university. Methodology:non-experimental cross-sectional design, quantitative approach. The sample was non-probabilistic forconvenience and was made up of 131 students from the Environmental Engineering School. Thequestionnaire used had a validity for Aiken’s V of 0.712 and a reliability of 0.726 through the KuderRichardson method (KR-20). Results: A relationship was found between the consumption of energydrinks and the knowledge of the students with a p = 0.010 and a correlation coefficient of -0.225.Conclusions: The more knowledge, the lower the consumption of energy drinks.
