In Latin America there are opportunities resulting from the access to technologies; however, there are also disadvantages; because of labor market inadequacy. In the Peruvian case, local authorities have the responsibility to create those conditions that would allow companies and workers to develop the skills deemed  necessary for an adequate performance in future business scenarios. And, as far as education goes, it is important for students to develop their own ability to solve problems autonomously.La cuarta revolución industrial supone una aceleración exponencial de la tecnología informática que impactará en las industrias y en diferentes tipos de profesiones.Los robots ejecutarán los trabajos operativos, pero las habilidades interpersonales de los seres humanos seguirán siendo imprescindibles en varias tareas complejas. EnAmérica Latina existen oportunidades debido al acceso a las tecnologías; sin embargo existen también desventajas, porque la preparación del mercado laboral en lascompetencias para este nuevo escenario no ha sido la más adecuada. En el caso peruano, las autoridades tienen la responsabilidad de crear condiciones que permitan a lasempresas y trabajadores desarrollar las habilidades que serán necesarias para un desempeño adecuado en el escenario futuro de los negocios.
