Psychoeducational assessment is generally understood as a comprehensive action focused on the specific context of education, with the ultimate goal of creating interventions matched to the needs of students (Isaacs et al., 2013). However, in the evaluation processes in higher education, aspects ranging from the admission process are also included, to continue with the student life cycle (Halpern & Butler, 2013). And thematically, educational assessment in general, and in higher education in particular, cannot be understood solely as a set of manuscripts for developing and adapting measures.El contenido del título de este número especial es suficientemente descriptivo de lo que se espera: un enfoque de contenido en instrumentación y prácticas de evaluación educativa y psicológica en el contexto de la educación superior. La evaluación psicoeducativa generalmente es entendida como una acción integral enfocado en el contexto específico de la educación, con el fin último de crear intervenciones empatadas con las necesidades de los estudiantes (Isaacs et al., 2013). Sin embargo, en los procesos de evaluación en la educación superior, también se incluyen aspectos que van desde el proceso de admisión, para continuar con el ciclo de vida estudiantil (Halpern & Butler, 2013). Y temáticamente, la evaluación educativa en general, y en educación superior en particular, no puede entenderse únicamente como un conjunto de manuscritos de desarrollo y adaptación de medidas.O conteúdo do título desta edição especial é suficientemente descritivo do que se espera: um foco de conteúdo em instrumentação e práticas de avaliação educacional e psicológica no contexto do ensino superior. A avaliação psicoeducacional é geralmente entendida como uma ação holística voltada para o contexto específico da educação, com o objetivo final de criar intervenções adequadas às necessidades dos alunos (Isaacs et al., 2013). Entretanto, os processos de avaliação no ensino superior também incluem aspectos que vão desde o processo de admissão até o ciclo de vida do aluno (Halpern & Butler, 2013).
