description Recycling is an environmental practice aimed at the reuse of solid waste that has completed a life cycle and that, due to the formation of microbasurales, requires to be reused in order to reduce the amount of waste in the environment. Considering the relevance of this theme, this article has been prepared that aims to know and describe this educational experience around recycling in the rural school of Chilecito, located in the municipality of Monte Patria, Region of Coquimbo, Chile. The study case is part of a project of the Ministry of Environment of the Government of Chile. The methodology used provided workshops with students and the use of educational materials. The results contemplate, the presentation of tables with information related to the pedagogical activities carried out by the students. In the discussion, the impressions of the students are presented, some assessments linked to recycling with the school curriculum and the apoderados manifest their impressions in relation to the theme.

Considerando lo relevante de esta temática, se elaboró el presente artículo que tiene como fin conocer y describir esta experiencia educativa en torno al reciclaje en la escuela de rural de Chilecito, ubicada en la comuna de Monte Patria, Región de Coquimbo, Chile. El caso de estudio está enmarcado en un proyecto del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente del gobierno de Chile. La metodología utilizada fueron talleres con los estudiantes y uso de materiales educativos. Los resultados contemplan, la presentación de cuadros con información relacionada a las actividades pedagógicas desarrolladas por los estudiantes. En la discusión se presentan las impresiones de los estudiantes, algunas apreciaciones vinculadas al reciclaje con el curriculum escolar y apoderados manifiestan sus impresiones en relación a la temática..A reciclagem e uma prática ambiental destinada à reutilização dos resíduos sólidos que você cumpre um ciclo de vida e que, devido à formação de microbasurais, requer ser reutilizada com a aleta de redução da capacidade de resíduos no ambiente. Considerando que é relevante de forma temática, elaborou o presente artigo que tem como fim o conhecimento e descreve esta experiência educativa em torno da reciclagem na escola rural de Chilecito, ubicada na comuna de Monte Pátria, Região de Coquimbo, Chile. O caso de estúdio está marcado em um projeto do Ministério de Meio Ambiente do governo do Chile. A metodologia utilizada fueron talleres con los estudiantes e uso de materiais educativos.
