The studio deals with the environmental path of native plants of Colliguaycito is located in the commune of Monte Patria, province of Limari, Region of Coquimbo, Chile. On this path, environmental education activities are carried out related to valuing the autochthonous plants that grow in this rural sector. However, there is a lack of environmental awareness of people who visit the environmental path. Recycling is an environmental practice aimed at the reuse of solid waste that has completed a life cycle and that, due to the formation of microbasurales, requires to be reused in order to reduce the amount of waste in the environment. Considering the relevance of this theme, this article has been prepared that aims to know and describe this educational experience around recycling in the rural school of Chilecito, located in the municipality of Monte Patria, Region of Coquimbo, Chile. The study case is part of a project of the Ministry of Environment of the Government of Chile. The methodology used provided workshops with students and the use of educational materials. A proposal is presented to create an environmental trail in the Mostazal sector, Monte Patria commune, Limari province, Coquimbo Region, Chile. The objective of the work is to develop an environmental trail for the conservation of native plants that exist in the place.The methodological sequence on which the work was organized included the collection of background of the cartography of the study area through the use of the computer program (Google Earth, 2020), sources such as the guide for the design and operation of trails are consulted.
