Descripción
Sumario:Vasculitis are a heterogeneous group of clinical entities that share common inflammatory condition of the blood vessels of different caliber, with wide clinical and histological expression. It has proposed different ways to classify vasculitis based on various parameters such as the size of the affected vessels, the probable etiology or clinical criteria. Present we consider the three most representative: the Fauci, the Lie and Consensus established in 1993 in Chapel Hill. The most important in the different forms of vasculitis pathological hallmark is inflammation of blood vessels and tissue necrosis. sometimes granuloma formation. Pathophysiology, these phenomena result in damage and vascular occlusion, tissue ischemia, aneurysm formation and, less frequently, vascular rupture.
