Sumario:The integration of university governance, University Social Responsibility (USR), and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the institutional management of the Autonomous University of Nayarit (UAN) 2022-2024 was evaluated. The study had an exploratory-descriptive scope with a qualitative approach and case study design. Regulatory documents, institutional reports, official records, and sources from national and international organizations were analyzed, applying document review, content analysis, and information triangulation. Scientific publications in Spanish and English published between 2018 and 2025 that addressed the relationship between governance, USR, and SDGs were also considered. The results showed progress in the formalization of governance and the implementation of USR practices; however, gaps remain in the institutionalization of social and academic impact metrics, in the mainstreaming of USR, and in the participation of the university community. It was concluded that the UAN can strengthen its management through verifiable monitoring systems, the consolidation of USR as an institutional axis, and the promotion of comprehensive participation, orienting commitments to the SDGs toward measurable results in academic quality and social legitimacy.
