Sumario:In the last years is dedicating to a special interaction of the radiation lase in the different human tissues. Valuations or theoretical and experimental communications are reported out on the interaction of the radiation láser CO2 in dental enamel. This study should be carried out firdt in glass, irradiating healthy bicuspides with energy densities from 5 to 145/cm2, with pulses of a duration of 1 ms and with continuous regimen. By means of electronic micrscopy, the changes were determined taken place in the surface of the enamel by means of the technique of Vikeps, the changes taken place in the micro hardness. The range of used energy, a decreased of the porosity of the enamel was obtained caused by the coalition of the tissues, without it increased the temperature considerably in the camera popular. With the continuos laser results of utility were not obtained.
