It was determinad that for small bioreactors it is not necessary to consider the pattern of axial disperslon and that the isothermic operation is possible for the hlgh degree of retromixing of coolant in the jacket.Se diseñó un biorreactor de lecho empacado con células inmovilizadas con un soporte inerte cerámico (sillas de instalox). Las ecuaciones de diseño, considerando flujo de tapón, se resolvieron con los algoritmos apropiados instalados en Mathcad 7P, obteniéndose un volumen de 10 L para las apropiadas restricciones de diseño.
