The influence of the work environment on the performance of the employees of the institution, which are fundamental, is highlighted. Finally, as a result, there is a significant relationship, expressed through efficiency, effectiveness and quality, important aspects to be developed within the framework of institutional management.El presente artículo de investigación describe la correlación entre el clima organizacional y el desempeño laboral del personal del Instituto Nacional de Defensa Civil. Así, un clima laboral adecuado contribuye al logro de las metas propuestas, mejora la calidad del servicio; por el contrario, lo adverso no contribuye con la optimización de la gestión y dificulta alcanzar los objetivos planeados. Se destaca la influencia del ambiente laboral sobre el desempeño de los colaboradores de la institución, que son fundamentales.
