Thanks to the analysis, it is known that there is indeed an appreciation and that there have also been some initiatives trying to spread its history and architecture. However, all this remains restricted to the academic and institutional sphere, being necessary to cross those limits to strengthen the heritage character of the property.Este trabajo está centrado en una de las huellas dejadas por el estilo Art Deco en el centro histórico de la capital peruana. Se trata del edificio Gildemeister y de este se analizan dos cuestiones, por un lado, su valor y por otro el nivel de difusión alcanzado entre la gente. Gracias al análisis logra saberse que en efecto hay valoración y que además han tenido lugar algunas iniciativas intentando difundir su historia y arquitectura.
