The present work has as main objective the design of a migration model to Cloud Computing which was called PMC to facilitate this process, this model was applied to an educational institution, where goals such as minimizing costs were achieved, obtaining results without delays and within the planned costs, the process time was reduced, obtaining short-term results showing the satisfaction of the users in the use of the systems, a survey was applied to the administrative personnel who interact with the systems that were migrated. The work was carried out considering a non-experimental methodology with a quantitative approach.La necesidad de muchas empresas por mejorar su eficacia y su eficiencia se traducen en la demanda para la migración a la Cloud Computing, no estando exentas a esto las instituciones educativas de nivel superior las cuales registran y almacenan gran cantidad de datos requiriendo inversión en recursos sobre todo en tecnología de información. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo principal el diseño de un modelo de migración a Cloud Computing la cual se denominó PMC que facilite este proceso, este modelo se aplicó a una institucione educativa, donde se alcanzó metas como minimizar costos obteniendo resultados sin demoras y dentro de los costos planificados, se redujo el tiempo de procesos obteniéndose resultados en plazos cortos mostrando satisfacción de los usuarios en el uso de los sistemas, se aplicó una encuesta al personal administrativo que interactúa con los sistemas que fueron migrados.
