We conclude that these results impacting positively on the economy of Peru by establishing a path of sustainable development both technically, economically, socially and environmentally.El objetivo del presente trabajo de investigación es el diseño de un proceso más limpio para la producción de etanol carburante de camote. Aplicando los principios de diseño conceptual y el análisis Pinch y el uso de simuladores chem cad y pinch cad, se determina que el proceso con tamices moleculares es el más eficaz, obteniéndose etanol de 99,5% de pureza, con una demanda de energía de 1400 Kj/Kg de etanol.
