Sumario:In Colombia, teacher-researchers have integrated information and communication technologies (ICT) and artificial intelligence (AI) tools such as Chat GPT and Chat PDF, which have transformed the way science education and academic writing are taught to undergraduate students in Higher Education Institutions (HEI). The objective of this research was to systematize the experience in the training of human resources using these technologies. A qualitative methodology was adopted, based on the model of systematization of experiences, which included planning, reconstruction of processes, analysis, interpretation and communication of learning derived from conducting research work. The results revealed that the implementation of AI in Higher Education can significantly improve the quality of research papers, in terms of rhetoric and logical structure, and foster the development of research skills in students. This allows a more efficient management of scientific information and facilitates the conduct of literature reviews, instrument design and copyright recognition. In conclusion, it is important that teacher-researchers possess adequate pedagogical and technological knowledge to maximize the potential of these tools in education, while ensuring academic honesty, data privacy and compliance with ethical and legal regulations.
