According to articles found in databases such as PubMed, Cochrane, Science Direct, Google Scholar, in addition to the 2017 consensus of the European Society of Endodontics (all of them with a high level of scientific evidence), premedication with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs increases the rate of success of local anesthesia providing predictable anesthesia, saline solution as an irrigant at 2.5 °C reduces postoperative pain, the prescription of antibiotics is prohibited in biopulpectomies since it does not reduce postoperative pain and NSAIDs are the drugs of choice for the pain control after root canal treatment. Universidad Nacional Jorge Basadre Grohmann2022-01-20info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdftext/htmlhttps://revistas.unjbg.edu.pe/index.php/rob/article/view/127010.33326/26644649.2022.6.1.1270Revista Odontológica Basadrina; Vol. 6 Núm. 1 (2022): Revista Odontológica Basadrina; 41-462664-46492664-121610.33326/26644649.2022.6.1reponame:Revistas - Universidad Nacional Jorge Basadre Grohmanninstname:Universidad Nacional Jorge Basadre Grohmanninstacron:UNJBGspahttps://revistas.unjbg.edu.pe/index.php/rob/article/view/1270/1441https://revistas.unjbg.edu.pe/index.php/rob/article/view/1270/1453Derechos de autor 2022 Evelyn Mercedes Mamani Useccahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/deed.esinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessoai:revistas.unjbg.edu.pe:article/12702022-03-01T22:34:55Z
