The participating processes allow to elaborate rural development programs with the settlers, paying attention to their necessities and requests.Las investigaciones sobre paisaje constituyen un aporte fundamental en la planificación y gestión rural. Se reflexiona sobre la necesidad de integrar en la investigación, los aportes de la comunidad que habita y se transforma el paisaje rural, a través de una experiencia participativa, en la que se presenta una propuesta de manejo del paisaje rural, como instrumento de planificación, a partir de la sinergia de enfoques: la del poblador, según su proyección a futuro del espacio en el que se desenvuelve, y la del planificador, en base a una serie de criterios técnicos de evaluación.
