La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general demostrar que el Programa basado en juegos cooperativos, mejora significativamente la inteligencia emocional infantil. Ésta fue una investigación pre experimental, que consideró el enfoque cuantitativo en el recojo y procesamiento de la información. Se trabajó con estudiantes del nivel de inicial de la institución educativa Rafael Narváez Cadenillas.  Se concluye, entonces,  que el programa  basado en juegos cooperativos, mejoró significativamente  la inteligencia emocional de los niños de 2 a 5 años de edad en los aspectos relación consigo mismo, tanto en conciencia, como control emocional y la mejora significativa en el aspecto relación con el entorno en sus indicadores de empatía y resolución de problemas de los niños.Palabras claves: Programa-juegos cooperativos-desarrollo-inteligencia emocional. ABSTRACT The present enquiry had as  a general objective to demonstrate that the program based  on cooperative  playing  got better   child emotional intelligence significantly. It was a pre experimental research where a quantitative approach was taken  into account in relation to collecting and processing information. Students from the pre primary level out of the Rafael Narvaez Cadenillas educational institution participated in it. The conclusion was that the program based on cooperative playing got better  emotional intelligence significantly in  two to five year old children in relation to oneself and consciousness aspects as well as emotional control and  a relation to outdoors and the indicators  of empathy and child problem solving indicators in two to five year old children.            Key words: program-cooperative playing-development-emotional intelligence
