The ELANEM methodology was used and a survey validated by experts was used, with sustainability indicators and a double-entry matrix. For data processing, the normalization equation was used, in which the value of 1 represents an optimistic situation. The results obtained recorded values for the economic, social and environmental dimensions of 0.64; 0.58 and 0.77, respectively; and an overall sustainability index of 0.66. This reveals that the company's sustainability is stable; however, it is necessary to further strengthen the social aspect, since it is the dimension that has reported the lowest index.El proceso de elaboración de derivados lácteos genera una gran contaminación ambiental debido a las malas prácticas empleadas durante el procesamiento, razón por la cual resulta indispensable conocer el grado de sostenibilidad de esta industria, en la presente investigación se buscó evaluar la sostenibilidad de la elaboración de derivados lácteos en la asociación Agropecuaria San Salvador de Quishcambal-Assaqui en la localidad de San Salvador, Provincia de Luya en la Región Amazonas. Se empleó la metodología de ELANEM y se utilizó una encuesta validada por expertos, con indicadores de sostenibilidad y una matriz de doble entrada. Para el procesamiento de datos se utilizó la ecuación de normalización, en la que el valor de 1 representa una situación optimista. Lo resultados obtenidos registraron los valores de las dimensiones económico, social y ambiental de 0.64; 0.58 y 0.77 respectivamente; y un índice de sostenibilidad general de 0.66.
