For this, a diagnosis was made in the public institutions of the Obas district, where the pedagogical instruments were applied, processed, verified and analyzed and thus obtain the following results in the post-test, the median or 50% of the students of the experimental group they scored higher than 14, in parallel 50% of the students in the control group scored lower than 14 and the other 50% scored higher than 11. Therefore, it is concluded that it positively influences the teaching and learning of mathematics , in the students.La investigación tuvo como objetivo diseñar materiales educativos según el etno de su contexto, para aplicar en la enseñanza y aprendizaje de la matemática, dónde este método debe ser combinado con otros métodos activos de acuerdo a la naturaleza, para tal efecto el diseño fue cuasi experimental con la aplicación de una pre prueba, proceso y post prueba; conformado por los estudiantes del III y V ciclo de la Escuela Profesional de Educación Primaria de la Universidad Nacional Hermilio Valdizán - Obas, matriculados en el año académico 2017, en el primer grupo experimental se utilizó los materiales etnomatemáticos diseñados en la investigación, mientras en el segundo grupo control, el enfoque convencional dictaminados por el Ministerio de Educación. Para ello se realizó un diagnóstico en las instituciones públicas del distrito de Obas, donde se aplicó, procesó, verificó y analizó los instrumentos pedagógicos y así obtener los siguientes resultados en la post prueba, la mediana o el 50 % de los estudiantes del grupo experimental obtuvieron notas superiores a 14, paralelamente el 50 % de los estudiantes del grupo de control obtuvieron notas inferiores a 14 y el otro 50 % obtuvieron notas superiores a 11.
