The work consisted of the design, elaboration and proposal of models with the use of Information andCommunication Technologies (ICT), to contribute to the study of the origin of the coelom in animals withbilateral symmetry in the teaching-learning process of Biology 2, in high school. Several methods ofinformation gathering and processing were used, which allowed verifying the evident deficienciesregarding the use and elaboration of models in digital format for the study of the origin of the coelom in the teaching-learning process of this subject. A total of three models, related to the acoelomate, pseudocoelomate and coelomate condition in bilaterally symmetrical animals were built in electronic format. The constructed models were introduced in the teaching - learning process of Biology 2 from the course 2019 - 2020. The models proposed, until their implementation, were assessed by expert criteria that considered them relevant. The criteria offered by teachers and students after applying the selectedmethods to them were also taken into consideration. The effectiveness of the models was also madeevident taking into consideration the results obtained by the students once the pedagogical test was applied. It is concluded that the thematic approached is important and coincides with the transformations that are carried out in the National Education System in Cuba and in particular in the 8th grade of secondary 4education. |

It is concluded that the thematic approached is important and coincides with the transformations that are carried out in the National Education System in Cuba and in particular in the 8th grade of secondary 4education.El trabajo consistió en el diseño, elaboración y propuesta de modelos con el uso de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC), para contribuir al estudio del origen del celoma en los animales de simetría bilateral en el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje de la Biología 2, en la enseñanza media. En la investigación se emplearon diversos métodos de recopilación y procesamiento de información, que permitieron verificar las carencias evidentes en cuanto a la utilización y elaboración de modelos en formato digital para el estudio del origen del celoma en el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje de esta asignatura. Se construyeron un total de tres modelos, relacionados con la condición acelomada, seudocelomada y celomada en los animales de simetría bilateral en formato electrónico. Los modelos construidos se introdujeron en el proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje de la Biología 2 a partir del curso 2019 – 2020. Los modelos que se proponen, hasta su implementación, fueron valorados por criterio de expertos que lo consideraron pertinentes. Además, se tomaron en consideración los criterios ofrecidos por profesores y escolares una vez aplicados a ellos los métodos seleccionados. Se hizo evidente la efectividad de los modelos tomando en consideración los resultados obtenidos por los escolares una vez aplicada la prueba pedagógica. Se concluye que la temática abordada es importante y coincide con las transformaciones que se llevan a cabo en el Sistema Nacional de Educación en Cuba y en particular en el 8vo grado de la enseñanza media.Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal.
