description The curriculum is a dynamic and indissoluble process that plays a significant role for educational entities, since it allows to base and complement education according to the requirements and needs of society and culture. Therefore, this article shows the results of a research process that aimed to determine a proposal for curricular innovation from the critical thinking approach that favors the development of academic and directive management of the school. For this purpose, a qualitative methodology was chosen with an exploratory and descriptive approach. 80% of the population was taken, giving a total of 88 members of the educational community. From primary information and documentary record and data collection instruments, such as the document review matrix, survey, interview and the focus group, it was possible to conclude that a process of curricular foundation that allows the strengthening of critical thinking is given through the development critical skills, mediation, collaborative work and pedagogical transversality.

Por tal razão, este artigo mostra os resultados de um processo de pesquisa que teve como objetivo determinar uma proposta de inovação curricular desde o enfoque no pensamento crítico que favoreça o desenvolvimento da gestão acadêmica e diretiva da escola. Para este fim, se optou por uma metodologia qualitativa com foco exploratorio e descritivo. Tomou-se de base 80% da população, com um total de 88 membros da comunidade educativa. A partir da informação primaria e registro documental e instrumentos de coleta de dados, como a matriz de revisão documental, enquete, entrevista e o grupo focal, se conclui que um processo de fundamentação curricular que permite o fortalecimento do pensamento crítico se dá mediante o desenvolvimento de habilidades críticas, a mediação, o trabalho colaborativo e a transversalidade pedagógica.El currículo es un proceso dinámico e indisoluble que juega un papel significativo para los entes educativos, puesto que permite fundamentar y complementar la educación de acuerdo a los requerimientos y necesidades de la sociedad y cultura. Por ende, este artículo muestra los resultados de un proceso de investigación que tuvo como objetivo determinar una propuesta de innovación curricular desde el enfoque de pensamiento crítico que favorezca el desarrollo de la gestión académica y directiva de la escuela. Para este fin, se optó por una metodología cualitativa con el enfoque exploratorio y descriptivo. Se tomó 80% de la población dando un total de 88 miembros de la comunidad educativa.
