Objective. To determine the influence of digital tools on the development of reading comprehension in students of the second grade of secondary level, of the Ramón Castilla School of the district of Chuschi, in the remote education modality, 2020. Methods. The research was developed from the quantitative, explanatory type and experimental design in its quasi-experimental aspect. The sample, extracted from an intentional non-probabilistic sample, was made up of 32 students from sections A and B. The instrument used to collect the data consisted of a standardized test. Results. The participation of the 16 students of the experimental group, after the pre and post-test, showed that 7 (43.8%) students were placed in the level of achievement; 6 (37.5%), in process; 3 (18.8%), in outstanding achievement and 0 (0.0%), in initiation. After the hypothesis test using the Mann-Whitney U statistician, a significance value of 0.002 was obtained which is less than 0.05; it was shown that, at 95% reliability, digital tools influence reading comprehension. Conclusions. The study concludes that digital tools significantly influence the development of reading comprehension in students of the second grade of secondary level of the Ramón Castilla School of the district of Chuschi, in the remote education modality, 2020. |

Métodos. La investigación fue desarrollada desde el enfoque cuantitativo, tipo explicativo y de diseño experimental en su vertiente cuasiexperimental. La muestra, extraída a partir de un muestreo no probabilístico intencional, estuvo conformada por 32 estudiantes de las secciones A y B. El instrumento utilizado para recabar los datos consistió en una prueba estandarizada. Resultados. La participación de los 16 estudiantes del grupo experimental, luego del pre y postest, evidenció que 7 (43,8%) educandos se ubicaron en el nivel de logro; 6 (37,5%), en proceso; 3 (18,8%), en logro destacado y 0 (0,0%), en inicio. Luego de realizar la prueba de hipótesis por medio del estadígrafo U de Mann-Whitney, se obtuvo un valor de significancia de 0,002 que es inferior a 0,05; demostrándose que, al 95% de confiabilidad, las herramientas digitales influyen en la comprensión lectora. Conclusiones. El estudio concluye que las herramientas digitales influyen significativamente en el desarrollo de la comprensión lectora en los estudiantes del segundo grado del nivel secundario de la Institución Educativa Ramón Castilla del distrito de Chuschi, 2020, en la modalidad de educación a distancia.Objetivo. Determinar a influência das ferramentas digitais no desenvolvimento da compreensão da leitura nos alunos da segunda série do ensino médio, na modalidade de educação à distância, no Instituto Educacional Ramón Castilla, no distrito de Chuschi, em 2020. Métodos. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida a partir da abordagem quantitativa, do tipo explicativo e do desenho experimental em seu aspecto quase experimental. A amostra, extraída de uma amostragem intencional não-probabilística, era composta por 32 estudantes das seções A e B. O instrumento usado para coletar os dados consistia em um teste padronizado. Resultados. A participação dos 16 estudantes no grupo experimental, após o pré e pós-teste, mostrou que 7 (43,8%) estudantes estavam no nível de aproveitamento; 6 (37,5%), em processo; 3 (18,8%), em aproveitamento excepcional e 0 (0,0%), no início. Após realizar o teste de hipóteses por meio da estatística Mann-Whitney U, foi obtido um valor de significância de 0,002, que é inferior a 0,05; demonstrando que, com 95% de confiabilidade, as ferramentas digitais influenciam a compreensão da leitura. Conclusões.
