Objective. Demonstrate the effectiveness of educational intervention in improving healthy lifestyles and self-care for adult women in the glass of milk program of the Municipality of Pillcomarca, Huánuco, Peru. Methods. We worked with a quasi-experimental design of pre and post test of a single group, whose sample was 26 women leaders. Before and after the intervention, the evaluation tests were applied to measure healthy lifestyles and self-care. Results. Regarding the results found before the educational intervention, 57.7% had unhealthy lifestyles, decreasing in the post-test to 7.7%; while in relation to healthy lifestyles, 46.2% in the pre-test increased to 92.3% in the post-test. Likewise, in terms of inadequate self-care practices, 92.3% in the pre-test decreased to 53.8% after the intervention. Conclusion. Adequate self-care practices in the pretest from 7.7% increased to 46.2% in the posttest; and healthy lifestyles of 46.2% in the pre-test increased to 92.3%, clearly showing the positive effect of the educational intervention towards a behavior favorable to women's health. |

Demostrar la efectividad de la intervención educativa en la mejorara de los estilos de vida saludables y el autocuidado de las mujeres adultas del programa de v aso de leche de la Municipalidad de Pillcomarca, Huánuco, Perú. Métodos. Se trabajó con un diseño cuasi experimental de pre y post prueba de un sólo grupo, cuya muestra fueron 26 mujeres líderes. Antes y después de la intervención se aplicaron los Test de evaluación para medir los estilos de vida saludables y autocuidado. Resultados. En cuanto a los resultados encontrados antes de la intervención educativa un 57,7 % tenían estilos de vida no saludables, disminuyendo en el post test a un 7,7 %; mientras en relación a estilos de vida saludable de un 46,2 % en el pre test se incrementó a 92,3 % en el post test. Igualmente, en cuanto a prácticas inadecuadas de autocuidado de 92,3 % en el pre test disminuyó a 53,8 % después de la intervención. Conclusión. Las prácticas adecuadas de autocuidado en el pretest de 7,7 % se incrementó a 46,2 % en el postest; y los estilos de vida saludable de un 46,2 % en el pre test se incrementó a 92,3% evidenciándose claramente el efecto positivo de la intervención educativa hacia una conducta favorable para la salud de las mujeres. Objetivo. Demonstrar a eficácia da intervenção educacional para melhorar os estilos de vida saudáveis e o autocuidado das mulheres adultas no programa v aso de leche do Município de Pillcomarca, Huánuco, Peru. Métodos. Trabalhamos com um projeto de pré e pós-teste quase-experimental, com uma amostra de 26 mulheres líderes. Antes e depois da intervenção, os testes de avaliação foram aplicados para medir estilos de vida saudáveis e o autocuidado. Resultados. Em relação aos resultados encontrados antes da intervenção educacional, 57,7% tinham estilos de vida pouco saudáveis, diminuindo para 7,7% no pós-teste; enquanto em relação aos estilos de vida saudáveis, 46,2% no pré-teste aumentaram para 92,3% no pós-teste. Da mesma forma, em termos de práticas inadequadas de autocuidado, de 92,3% no pré-teste ele diminuiu para 53,8% após a intervenção. Conclusão.
