Having more tools is advantageous, but the new psychometric writers or test authors present so many singularities and inaccuracies in the description of their respective instruments, which make it necessary to have a glossary, a more precise dictionary that defines the fourteen most used instruments in psychology clinical, educational and organizational (Pereyra, 2020).Los test, pruebas, escalas e inventarios son herramientas útiles en psicología pues con ellos se realizan mediciones precisas y cada año aumenta el vademécum de instrumentos psicométricos y proyectivos. Una web de corte internacional ha logrado contar 5247 títulos de instrumentos; vale decir, que estas herramientas se han incrementado aritméticamente.
