The main results indicate that the experiences of sexual harassment lived mostly are of express, verbal harassment and persecutions; Five factors were found that would be favoring ASC tolerance and contributing to its normalization.El objetivo del presente artículo se orienta a mostrar algunos factores que favorecen la tolerancia al acoso sexual callejero. Para el estudio se empleó un diseño mixto, explicativo secuencial cuantitativo-cualitativo, con predominancia cualitativa. Los participantes fueron 292 mujeres con edades entre 19 a 28 años; en la fase cuantitativa se utilizó la Escala de acoso sexual Callejero (EASC), en la fase cualitativa se aplicó grupos focales con 32 participantes.
