At the other extreme, in large mines such as those of the Southern Peru Copper Corporation, the situation of salarization is complete and subordination to the standards of mechanized and large-scale production is very great.En este número sobre la presencia del campesino en la minería andina y sobre los conflictos que lo afectan los artículos cubren una gama amplia de situaciones. En algunos casos, como el explicado por R. Godoy, el campesino tiene una gran capacidad para imponer sus propias exigencias y condiciones en la actividad minera que él mismo realiza a pesar de no ser propietario del recurso minero.
