Among the harassing situations, 24.5% (n = 87) were victims of physical contact or touching, 22.8% (n = 81) comments about some part of their body, 21.4% (n = 76) sexual comments and 17.5% (n = 62) through emails or harassing messages. The highest proportion of sexual harassment occurred in women (p = 0.003), in nursing school students (p = 0.020) and in those who received information about harassment (p <0.001). Conclusions: Sexual harassment is a very frequent problem in the university population, it mainly affects women nursing students. Physical contact or improper touching, comments on any body region and sexual comments were the main harassing situations. Materiales y métodos: Estudio descriptivo transversal realizado en 2019. La muestra estuvo conformada por 355 estudiantes de ambos sexos procedentes de cinco escuelas académicas. Resultados: Participaron 355 estudiantes con una edad media de 24,37 años (DE= 5,55; Rango:17 a 50). Del total de estudiantes participantes, el 93 % (n=330) eran de sexo femenino, el 62,3% (n=221) pertenecientes a la facultad de enfermería. De la muestra, el 67,6 % (n=240) afirmaron haber recibido información sobre el acoso sexual, el 60% (n=213) fueron víctimas de acoso sexual en algún momento de la vida y en el 50,7% (n=180) el acosador fue de sexo masculino. Entre las situaciones acosadoras, el 24,5% (n=87) fueron víctimas de contacto físico o tocamientos, el 22,8% (n=81) comentarios sobre alguna parte de su cuerpo, el 21,4% (n=76) comentarios sexuales y el 17,5% (n=62) mediante correos o mensajes acosadores. La mayor proporción de acoso sexual se presentó en las mujeres (p=0,003), en estudiantes de la escuela de enfermería (p=0,020) y en aquellos que han recibido información sobre acoso (p<0,001). Conclusiones: El acoso sexual es un problema muy frecuente en la población universitaria, afecta principalmente a las mujeres estudiantes de enfermería. El contacto físico o tocamientos indebidos, comentarios sobre alguna región corporal y los comentarios sexuales fueron las principales situaciones acosadoras.
