| Sumario: | The aim of the study was to explore the level of eHealth literacy among healthcare users. The population consisted of healthcare users of primary healthcare located in the departments of Ayacucho and Huancavelica, both belonging to the Andean Region of Peru. The instrument used was the “eHealth Literacy Scale” (eHEALS). A total of 102 users of both sexes participated, with a median age of 34.5 years (Min: 15, Max: 92; Q1: 26, Q3: 52), 75.5% (n=77) represented by women. Regarding eHealth literacy, 42.2% (n=43) had elementary level, 8.8% (n=9) basic level, 23.5% (n=24) medium level and 25.5% (n=26) high level. In conclusion, in the Andean region of Peru, the level of eHealth literacy of healthcare users at primary healthcare is deficient. |
