Show the new approach to treating ovarian to be known throughout surgeon who ventures into the abdomen cancer.Se presenta la incidencia de cáncer de ovario en un Hospital General, como es el Hospital Central de la Sanidad de las Fuerzas Policiales, haciendo un estudio de todos los casos presentados en el lapso de 25 años (1959-1983) diagnosticados en el Departamento de Anatomía Patológica del HCSFP. Sobre un total de 296,704 pacientes que han tenido examen de detección de cáncer en el Departamento de Ginecología se diagnosticaron 647 casos de cáncer ginecológico, con 61 casos de cáncer de ovario con una incidencia de 9.5 %, con 70% de estadías avanzados y 30% de iniciales, con una supervivencia de 5 años sin enfermedad de 21.3%.
