CONCLUSIÓN: The vaginal hysterectomy in non-prolapsed uterus is a simple, echeloned and easily reproducible technique.OBJETIVO: Conocer la técnica de histerectomía vaginal en útero sin prolapso, adaptada de la técnica original de Peham-Amreicht y modificada. Diseño: Documento descriptivo de la técnica quirúrgica en 8 pasos consecutivos, documentados con fotografías de cada uno de los pasos. Se describe además la posición adecuada de la paciente para la cirugía, el material especial requerido, el rol de los ayudantes quirúrgicos y los cuidados preoperatorios. LUGAR: Centro Hospitalario Pereira Rossell, Clínica Ginecológica "C" Prof. Dr. José Carlos Cuadro.
