In a case of hydatidiform mole, chorionic gonadotropin high with low estrogen excretion was found, estriol decreased the very being.Hemos estudiado la excreción urinaria de estrógenos en 15 gestantes normales a término por el método de Cromatografía de gas y capa fino de Wotiz y Chottoraj, con los siguientes resultados: Estrona: 1.90 + 0,73 mgm./24 h.s Estradiol: 0.56 ± 0.20 mgm./24 hs. Estriol: 27.2 + 9.2 mgm./24 horas. (Promedio ± Desviación standard). Se describe el método empleado y se discute la aplicación clínica de las determinaciones de estrógenos durante el embarazo.
