Sumario:Introduction: The COVID 19 pandemic has produced many changes in the different sectors and world scenarios; and it is currently within this context, that it has been evidenced and manifested that, in various parts of the world and particularly in Peru, that many adolescents have chosen to be mothers at an early age. The disinterest and ignorance of the use of reliable and safe contraceptive methods that provides them security and confidence; emotional immaturity in making important life decisions, fear of the loss of a partner, the family violence they suffer, personal self-realization; and confinement due to the pandemic, are the causes that manifest in the decision to achieve a gestation process. Objective: To determine how the COVID 19 pandemic influences the increase in pregnancies in pregnant teenagers of the Cooperativa Pequeños Industriales, Ate 2021. Materials and Methods: Descriptive and cross-sectional quantitative study. Sample: non-probabilistic. It was applied to 35 19-year-old pregnant adolescents. The technique used was the survey and the questionnaire comprised 13 items, validated with an average of 100 satisfactory, according to the judgment of 4 experts. Results: It was evidenced that the 35 adolescents interviewed belonged to households with low socioeconomic status, also came from dysfunctional families, only 2% of the total adolescents were studying a technical career, 5% were studying at university, 8% of adolescents were working remotely from home and 15% lived with their partner, the rest lived alone or sharing a room. Conclusions: Health establishments and family planning centers should disseminate campaigns in favor of the prevention and planning of adolescent pregnancies for the prevention of possible risk factors for morbidity and mortality in pregnant children and adolescents.
