Introduction: The COVID 19 pandemic has produced many changes in the different sectors and world scenarios; and it is currently within this context, that it has been evidenced and manifested that, in various parts of the world and particularly in Peru, that many adolescents have chosen to be mothers at an early age. The disinterest and ignorance of the use of reliable and safe contraceptive methods that provides them security and confidence; emotional immaturity in making important life decisions, fear of the loss of a partner, the family violence they suffer, personal self-realization; and confinement due to the pandemic, are the causes that manifest in the decision to achieve a gestation process.
