Sumario:Objective: To evaluate the impact of physical, psychological and sexual violence on the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents from 15 to 19 years old. Material and methods: An observational analytical study, a secondary analysis ENDES 2018 database was performed, where an intervention group was defined as 401 adolescents with violence versus a second control group of 401 adolescents without violence. To estimate the impact, the statistical technique of the Propensity score matching (PSM) was applied, applying matching algorithms: closest neighbor and logistic regression. All calculations were performed in the SPSS 24 statistical program. Results: Physical violence in adolescents increases the proportion of terminated pregnancies by 68% (p = 0.022). Violence in general reduces the probability of using contraceptives when there is economic dependency by 61% (p = 0.018), increases the proportion of prolonged deliveries by 60% (p = 0.019), increases the proportion of excessive bleeding in childbirth (p = 0.013), increases the proportion of urinary infections in the puerperium by 93% (p = 0.001). Sexual violence increases the probability of early marital unions in adolescents without studies by 63% (p = 0.006). Violence in general increases the probability of late initiation of breastfeeding by 30% (p = 0.04). Conclusions: Violence has a significant impact on adolescent SRH, increasing the proportion of terminated pregnancies, non-use of contraceptive methods, complications in childbirth and the puerperium, early marital unions and late initiation of breastfeeding.
