It is concluded that tests can be put to good use and not simply to describe or record differences among sociocultural groups.Se resalta la importancia de la adaptación, las normas y el análisis e interpretación cualitativa de los resultados. La autora ejemplifica cada uno de estos puntos a la luz de resultados de investigaciones llevadas a cabo en el medio con el WISC-R, Bender, Prueba de Discriminación Auditiva, las Láminas de Evaluación del Vocabulario y las Pruebas de Decodificación y Comprensión de Lectura Inicial.
