A total of 59 articles were identified, largely published in Latin American journals, and written collaboratively by researchers affiliated with specific institutions. Five important thematic clusters were identified, consisting of two basic, two drivers, and one emerging cluster. The study concludes that the quality of higher education is a relevant research topic in Chile with increasing productivity but high concentration, mainly explored from the perspective of institutional accreditation and quality assurance.El estudio planteó por objetivo analizar la producción científica sobre la calidad de educación superior en Chile. Se llevó a cabo un examen bibliométrico descriptivo longitudinal de los artículos publicados en la base de datos Scopus (periodo 2011-2021), cuyas temáticas fueron catalogadas con el esquema de clasificación de Callon et al. (1999). Se encontraron 59 artículos, publicados mayormente en revistas latinoamericanas, escritos de forma colaborativa y por investigadores afiliados a una institución particular. También se hallaron cinco clústeres temáticos importantes (dos básicos, dos motores y uno emergente). Se concluye que la calidad de la educación superior es una temática relevante de investigación en Chile, de productividad creciente pero altamente concentrada, cuyo estudio se aborda, principalmente, desde la perspectiva de la acreditación institucional y el aseguramiento de la calidad.O estudo teve como objetivo analisar a produção científica sobre a qualidade do ensino superior no Chile. Foi realizada uma revisão bibliométrica descritiva longitudinal dos artigos publicados na base Scopus (período 2011-2021), cujos tópicos foram catalogados com o esquema de classificação de Callon et al (1999). Foram encontrados 59 artigos, publicados em sua maioria em periódicos latino-americanos, escritos de forma colaborativa e por pesquisadores afiliados a uma determinada instituição. Cinco clusters temáticos importantes também foram encontrados (dois básicos, dois drivers e um emergente).
