The results indicate that lateral migration of the Ucayali River is increasing in the meanders surrounding the Supay and Sahua lagoons. The Supay meander curve with a migration of 36.4 m/y could erode the shore of the Supay lagoon affecting 137 ha riparian forests and crops in the Once de Agosto and Nuevo Pumacahua communities in the medium term. Likewise, the Lobillo meander curve with a progressive migration of 86.5 m/a is heading towards Laguna Sahua, and in an estimated period of 21 years it could modify the alluvial plain with potential losses of 1013 ha of riparian forests, crops and resettlement for the Once de Agosto community. The changes in the landscape would affect local transportation.En el sector Supay-Sahua, del distrito Jenaro Herrera, la migración lateral del río Ucayali ha ido erosionando la ribera de la laguna Supay y durante la crecida de 2022 afectó bosques ribereños y cultivos. Por ello, esta investigación analiza la dinámica fluvial y migración anual de las curvas de meandros del río Ucayali, con imágenes de satélite del periodo 1985-2021, y plantea un escenario futuro, mediante análisis de regresión temporal con análisis geomorfológico fluvial, de los potenciales procesos fluviales. Los resultados indican que la migración lateral del río Ucayali se está incrementando en los meandros que rodean las lagunas Supay y Sahua. La curva de meandro Supay, con una migración de 36.4 m/a, podría erosionar, a mediano plazo, la ribera de la laguna Supay, afectando 137 ha de bosques ribereños y cultivos en las comunidades Once de Agosto y Nuevo Pumacahua. Asimismo, la curva de meandro Lobillo, con una migración progresiva de 86.5 m/a, se dirige hacia la laguna Sahua, y en un plazo estimado de 21 años podría modificar la llanura aluvial con potenciales pérdidas de 1013 ha de bosques ribereños y cultivos, forzando el reasentamiento de la comunidad Once de Agosto.
