Therefore, the present research aims to characterize the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Social Networks (RRSS) of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) advised by the Arica Business Center, Chile. In a stratified random sample (n = 120), a survey was applied to find out the knowledge, use, frequency and impact that ICT and social media have on companies. The results showed that 73% of the clients of the Arica Business Center use ICT, especially the laptop or desktop computer, which 68% declare to use it several times a day, followed with 73%, the smartphone. The greatest impact that ICT has within companies is related to communication with customers. Regarding the RRSS, 81% of the MSMEs of the Arica Business Center, declare that they use them in the company, and that Facebook is used in 70% to deliver information and news, 53% offer customer services to through WhatsApp, and 52% do not recruit workers through RRSS. The greatest impact of the RRSS in the MSMEs, is in the promotion of products and / or services, 74% of the companies which in a high rank.En un mundo totalmente globalizado donde el uso de las plataformas digitales toma cada día mayor protagonismo, es relevante estudiar la relación de estas tecnologías con las empresas y cómo han influido en ellas. Por lo que, la presente investigación tiene por objetivo caracterizar el uso de Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) y Redes Sociales (RRSS) de la Micro, Pequeña y Mediana Empresa (MiPyme) asesoradas por el Centro de Negocios de Arica, Chile. En una muestra aleatoria estratificada (n=120) se aplicó una encuesta para conocer el conocimiento, uso, frecuencia e impacto que tienen las TIC y RRSS en las empresas. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que el 73% de los clientes del Centro de Negocios de Arica usa las TIC, especialmente el Computador portátil o de escritorio, lo cual el 68% declara utilizarlo varias veces al día, seguido con un 73%, el smartphone. El mayor impacto que poseen las TIC dentro de las empresas tiene relación con la comunicación con los clientes. Con respecto a las RRSS, el 81% de las MiPymes del Centro de Negocios de Arica, declara que las utiliza en la empresa, y que Facebook es utilizado en un 70% para entregar información y noticas, el 53% ofrece servicios al cliente a través de Whatsapp, y el 52% no recluta trabajadores a través de las RRSS.
