Descripción
Sumario:Teaching methods have changed. The case method is an active methodology that seeks, from a real experience, the simulated exploration by the student in order to develop in him the ability to make decisions. Before, teaching was centered on the teacher, today it revolves around the student and the teacher. Therefore, both will learn. For this, it is based on a concept or construct, or theory that is the object of study, which is recreated from a real experience and that allows simulated exploration, in order to develop, in the student, his capacity for decision making. For this, the student must carry out research of a bibliographical nature, about either information on the variables or updates on the object of study, which allow him to learn more about the reality of the unit of analysis. The objective of this work is to make a conceptual review of the case study for pedagogical purposes in the area of ??administration. It is shown from the selection of the case, the way it is used in the classroom, as is the participation of both the teacher and the student.
