We worked with a quantitative methodology, using the logbook collection technique, where students recorded their academic workload, which was inferentially analyzed by employing clusters. The results show the volume of academic load and provide data for its organization and estimation of credits. Knowing them allows macro and micro-curricular improvements in the teaching of design and entrepreneurship in universities and, at the same time, open debates regarding the workload to better management of university teaching.La presente investigación, estudia el trabajo académico de estudiantes universitarios que cursaron las asignaturas de diseño y emprendimiento en una Facultad de Administración y Economía (Chile). Se trabajó con una metodología cuantitativa, con la técnica de recolección de bitácora, en donde los estudiantes iban registrando la carga académica, el cual fue analizado inferencialmente mediante el uso de clusters. Los resultados visibilizan el volumen de carga académica y rescatan insumos para su organización y estimación de créditos.
