Using a quantitative analysis, a hypothetical deductive method, a cross-sectional design and an ordinal level, we carried out a correlative descriptive research with 183 documents. Participants responded to questions validated by the judgment of three experts and were confident that they were stable via Cronbach's Alpha, demonstrating high reliability even for variable variables. To analyze the data, descriptive statistical data and Spearman's Rho statistician are used to test hypotheses. This study involves exploring the dimensions of digital skills, including technological, educational, communication and research management aspects. The assessment of educational despair considers factors such as actively engaging students in learning, evaluating their progress, promoting an environment of respect and trust, and positively regulating student behavior. The results reveal a significant and direct relationship between digital skills and the evaluation of educational demand, with a coefficient r= .181 and a value of p=0.000. This is where we accept the alternative hypothesis and reject the null hypothesis.En respuesta a la creciente demanda de educadores con habilidades digitales avanzadas, nuestra investigación se enfocó en analizar la conexión entre la aptitud digital de los profesores y su rendimiento profesional en cuatro centros educativos públicos de Villa María del Triunfo, Lima. Utilizando métodos cuantitativos, un enfoque hipotético deductivo, un diseño transversal y un análisis a nivel ordinal, llevamos a cabo un estudio descriptivo correlacional con 183 educadores. Los participantes completaron encuestas, validadas por la evaluación de tres expertos y cuya fiabilidad se confirmó mediante el Alpha de Cronbach, asegurando así una alta confianza en ambas variables estudiadas. Para el análisis de datos, se utilizó estadística descriptiva y el coeficiente Rho de Spearman para la verificación de hipótesis. Nuestro desafío fue investigar las múltiples facetas de la competencia digital, abarcando áreas como la tecnología, la pedagogía, la comunicación y la administración de la investigación. En la valoración del desempeño de los docentes, se consideraron elementos como la participación activa de los alumnos en su educación, la evaluación de su avance, el fomento de un ambiente de respeto y empatía, y la gestión efectiva del comportamiento estudiantil. Los hallazgos indicaron una correlación notable y positiva entre la competencia digital de los docentes y su evaluación de desempeño, evidenciado por un coeficiente r= ,181 y un valor de p=0,000.
