The increase in severe clinical forms and hospitalizations has led to increased vaccination and greater interest in the process, particularly in cities with low immunization rates. Still, the United States lags behind the European Union in inoculations and many of its citizens remain reluctant to receive the vaccine.El Perú, durante las últimas semanas, es espectador aún de lo que viene ocurriendo en ciertos países de Europa y en los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica, donde se ha visto un aumento dramático de los casos de COVID-19 y de las hospitalizaciones, la gran mayoría a causa de la variante delta del SARS CoV-2. El incremento de las formas clínicas graves y los internamientos ha provocado un aumento de la vacunación y un mayor interés por el proceso, en particular, en las ciudades con bajas tasas de inmunización.
