In extreme cases after chronic ingestion of hair, severe and serious gastrointestinal disorders such as trichobezoars can be generated, which represents 1% of patients who eat their hair. We present the case of an 11-year-old female patient who was admitted to our hospital for a trichobezoar intestinal obstruction that was initially managed by surgery, from which she was referred to the child psychiatry area, once the surgical problema had been solved, for the corresponding management. Fundación Instituto Hipólito Unanue2022-12-16info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistadiagnostico.fihu.org.pe/index.php/diagnostico/article/view/40410.33734/diagnostico.v61i4.404Diagnóstico; Vol. 61 No. 4 (2022); e404Diagnostico; Vol. 61 Núm. 4 (2022); e4041018-28882709-795110.33734/diagnostico.v61i4reponame:Diagnósticoinstname:Fundación Instituto Hipólito Unanueinstacron:FIHUspahttps://revistadiagnostico.fihu.org.pe/index.php/diagnostico/article/view/404/403Derechos de autor 2022 María Antonieta Huete-Cordova, Dwight Denis Herrera-Del Águila, Juan C.
