He excised a tumoral ovarian cyst in the patient’s home, and he became the very first surgeon in performing intraperitoneal surgery in Peru.El Dr. Lino Alarco fue un destacado pionero de las intervenciones quirúrgicas temerarias y hasta impensables de la época.Adelantado a su época emitió célebres opiniones sobre la exploración clínica y la frecuencia de los tumores benignos y malignos.El 12 de junio de 1878 realizó Lino Alarco el acto más osado de su carrera.
