To do this, we will introduce some general lines of the book of poems Canto villano (Villain singing); to finally make a rethorical analysis of the poem "Va Eva” (“Eva Goes”) and demonstrate our initial hypothesis.En este artículo vamos a evaluar la problemática del silencio y su posible vínculo con una perspectiva de género, pues consideramos la existencia de un tipo de silencio, presente en la poética de Varela, que establece una crítica a la sociedad patriarcal.
