| Sumario: | In this article, we will evaluate the problem of silence and its possible link with a gender perspective, as we consider the existence of a type of silence, present in the poetics of Varela, who provides a critique of the patriarchal society. To do this, we will introduce some general lines of the book of poems Canto villano (Villain singing); to finally make a rethorical analysis of the poem "Va Eva” (“Eva Goes”) and demonstrate our initial hypothesis. |
