Este estudio se basa en una metodología feminista y utilizó las entrevistas como método de recolección de datos para priorizar las voces y experiencias vividas de las mujeres desde una perspectiva de género. Aborda las nociones de biopoder y el concepto de salud reproductiva en un marco de interseccionalidad. Finalmente, al vincular los testimonios de mujeres con el marco teórico, se pudo identificar que mujeres peruanas específicas, en condiciones de vulnerabilidad y pobreza, fueron atacadas por el Gobierno porque no representaban la idea de desarrollo y, desde entonces, las mujeres están lidiando con consecuencias físicas, emocionales y sociales.This study explores the extent to which the implementation of the National Program for Reproductive Health and Family Planning by the Peruvian Government had consequences in the lives of women who underwent sterilizations. This study is based on a feminist methodology and used interviews as a method of data collection in order to privilege women’s voices and lived experiences from a gender perspective. It addresses notions of biopower and the concept of reproductive health within a framework of intersectionality.
