En este estudio, se presenta evidencia de que la educación financiera se predice por factores demográficos, como lugar de origen, nivel matemático y alcance de información bancaria. Cuando la educación en los jóvenes mejora y la distribución de ingresos aumentan. La educación financiera también predice la planificación de la jubilación y los informes de ahorros, sin embargo, la educación financiera no predice un ahorro o saldos de cuenta.The main goals of personal finance education are to equip individuals and dependents, like members of a family, with knowledge and skills to make informed and productive financial choices during their different stages of their life cycle. Choices that extend beyond their roles as consumers. It is about understanding the relationships between values, beliefs, attitudes, emotions, self-esteem and spending, borrowing and saving.
